I am a Clinical Psychologist, Advanced Schema Therapist & Supervisor (Individual) (ISST), EMDR Practitioner (EMDRAA), and Board Approved Supervisor (AHPRA).
I primarily use Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitation and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches are based on the idea that we can address current difficulties (e.g., unhelpful thoughts, behaviours, and relationship patterns) by healing and processing difficult memories and childhood experiences.
I am also provide supervison.
In addition to clinical work, I contribute to mental health research at Deakin University, and supervise postgraduate psychology students at the Australian Catholic University.
I do not see clients through third parties (e.g., Workcover, NDIS), solely for the purposes of assessment, or do court reports.
Please be aware that I work in private practice on a part-time basis and therefore do not operate as a crisis or emergency service.
