Cancellations prior to 9 am on the day before an appointment incur NO cancellation fee.
Cancellations later than 9 am on the day before an appointment that are because of sudden physical illness or injury (e.g., vomiting) or an emergency situation (e.g., a car accident) incur NO cancellation fee. Unexpected work commitments are not considered emergencies.
Appointments that are rescheduled or cancelled later than 9 am on the day before an appointment incur a late cancellation fee of $100.
Arriving later than 30 minutes means the session will be automatically cancelled and incur a late cancellation fee of $100. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a meaningful session in less than 25 minutes, and the Medicare rebate for a 50 minute session ($137.05) cannot be provided.
This cancellation policy is part of providing structure and consistency, and honouring our time together. If you have concerns please let me know and we can talk it through.
